I love going to weddings -- how can you not? Everything is so beautiful, the brides (Marion designed all the programs & signs herself!) are so creative, and everyone is so incredibly happy. A belated congratulations to the beautiful couple!

Our studio's look has been evolving as we're evolving and the experience we want for all of our clients is constantly evolving. Photoria started off with a bunch of men (no offense, dad + other photogs - you guys are awesome!) and many manly (but hot) designs. Being the lone girl, I couldn't help but cry in my heart from the lack of pretty swirlies & pastel colors. Just kidding. But not really. 

We have so many wonderful big plans for 2010 and beyond. I'm so excited, you just don't know! We're learning every step of the way and working hard to build a studio that's based on simply making our clients feel beautiful & special. Yes, even you men. To our clients in 2009, thank you so much for your patience & love as we continue to grow. 

So for those of you who are sorta interested (it's okay if you're not), we've somewhat made two divisions of Photoria -- Photoria the Studio and Photoria Media. We've been blessed with so many different opportunities -- to working with doctors and musicians to amazing organizations -- and we definitely want to keep going. But to make things a little less confusing and to continue to offer the same (and BETTER) personal service to our clients, Photoria the Studio is thus born!

AND we got such a nice surprise in the mail yesterday! We had a photo session with Dior & Keith a few months back, and they had used one of the photos for their Christmas/New Years cards. They sent one to us with a super sweet message. Our clients are the BEST. I have to say it's seriously the best feeling in the world when your work makes someone happy. :) See the smilie face of approval below? 

Tons of amazing things in store for 2010. Senior photo sessions. Maternity sessions. Engagement sessions. Weddings. We're so excited. It's gonna be a fun year, so keep checking our blog. I'm going to blogging often. :D

Happy Thanksgiving!!

These two were such awesome models and so comfortable in front of the camera. Dior's quite the photographer herself, so I'm sure she knew all the right poses. I have to admit I got kind of nervous when she whipped out her Canon 5D Mark II. ;) 

Both Dior & Keith are from California, so they wanted to photographs around D.C. to remember their time here. Even though these two have been married for a few years now, they were obviously in love & they made it SO easy. The hours flew by and before we knew it, the sun was setting.
